This was the first multi discipline project that I worked on.

My partner, Tamar Cazes, is a graphic design student.

We decided in early on not to work in the usual way we know.

We wanted to work mostly with 3d models so the design will create itself while working.

 

Rounds is a family of two wooden toys made from wood cylinders.

The main motive for the toys was the sound and tactile textures of it.

 We decided to use solid wood because of it’s clean and deep sound.

 

The first toy is a magnet based toy- Its a kit of eight cylinders inserted in a cartridge.

The second toy is a collection of cylinders with different textures in it’s tips.
